When you back up your contacts using the Clickfree app on your iPhone or iPad, they’re saved as a VCF (VCard) file. If you ever want to delete that backup from your Clickfree device, just follow these easy steps:
1. Plug in your Clickfree device
-
Use your Lightning-to-USB adapter (if needed) to connect Clickfree to your iPhone or iPad.
-
If prompted, tap “Allow” to give permission.
-
Wait a moment while the app loads the backup content.
2. Open Backup Storage
-
In the app, tap “View Backup Storage” from the main screen.
3. Find the Contacts Backup Folder
-
Tap through the following folders to locate your contacts file:
-
Backup Folder
-
Phone Backup
-
Contacts Backup
-
This is where your VCF file (the file with all your backed-up contacts) is stored.
4. Delete the VCF File
-
Press and hold the file (usually named something like
contacts.vcf
). -
A small white circle will appear in the corner of the file icon.
-
Tap the circle — it will turn into a blue checkmark to show it’s selected.
-
Tap the Delete button at the bottom of your screen.
-
When prompted, tap OK to confirm.
