1. Open the Clickfree App

Locate the Clickfree app on your phone or tablet and tap to open it.

Make sure your Clickfree drive is connected to your device.
2. Access the Settings Menu

On the Home screen of the app, look in the top-left corner.

Tap the three horizontal lines (also called the "hamburger menu") to open Clickfree Settings menu.
3. Go to the Format Option

Then, tap on Format
4. Review Storage Information

On the Format screen, you’ll see how much storage is currently used on your Clickfree drive, and how much is available (e.g., "Used: 10 GB / Available: 54 GB").
5. Select the Drive and Enable the Format Button

Toward the bottom of the screen, tap the box next to the drive you want to format.
- A check mark will appear, indicating the drive is selected.
- Once the drive is selected, the Format button at the bottom of the screen will turn blue.
- This means the button is now active and ready to be tapped.

7. Tap the Format Button

Tap the blue Format button to begin.
Read the Message Prompt Carefully
A message will appear that says:
"Are you sure you want to remove/delete all the data from the External device?"
- If you’re sure you want to continue, tap Format.
8. Wait for Formatting to Complete

The app will now format your Clickfree.
When it's finished, you’ll be taken back to the Format screen.
9. Check That It’s Done
-
After formatting, the “Used” storage should now show 0 GB, meaning the drive is empty and ready to use again.
