The issue where your scanned photo appears gray usually happens because the app didn’t fully detect the photo before scanning. To fix this, make sure the blue detection lines completely outline the photo before continuing.
Here's a sample screenshot:
-
Place Your Photo on a Table
-
Lay the printed photo flat on a table or solid surface.
-
-
Make Sure the Area Is Well-Lit
-
Good lighting helps the app detect the edges of the photo. Natural light or a bright lamp works best.
-
-
Watch for the Blue Lines
-
The app uses blue lines to outline the photo.
-
Wait until the blue lines fully surround the photo before continuing. This means the app has successfully detected it.
-
-
Then, Scan the Photo
-
Once the blue frame is in place, proceed with the scan (either automatically or by tapping the capture button in manual mode).
