1. Plug in your Clickfree device

Connect your Clickfree to your iPhone or iPad.

If prompted, tap Allow to give permission.
2. Tap View Backup Storage

From the Clickfree home screen, tap “View Backup Storage.”

This will open up the folders stored on your Clickfree device.
3. Look for Backup Folders

Once inside View Backup Storage, you’ll see one or more folders — usually titled Backup or other folder names, depending on your past backups.
Note:
-
If this is your first backup → You’ll likely see a folder called Backup.

If you’ve done multiple backups → You may see several folders listed by name or type.
4. Tap Through Folders to Find Your Files

Tap on the Backup folder or any other folder shown.

Keep tapping through subfolders until you find the specific backup files you’re looking for.
Common Folder Examples:
Folder Name | What’s Inside |
---|---|
Backup | Most general backups (first-time users) |
Phone Backup | Files like photos, videos, contacts backup |
Scan Photos | Photos saved using Clickfree's Scan feature |
AI Photo | Images created using AI Photo tools |
Contacts Backup | Your saved contacts file (VCF file) |
Optional: Create or Rename Folders
Clickfree also gives you the option to create new folders or rename existing folders within View Backup Storage.
This is great if you want to organize your files or label them for easier access later.
To Create a New Folder:

Tap the + Folder icon

Enter a name for your new folder

Tap Create
To Rename a Folder:

Press and hold the folder you want to rename

Tap More from the bottome menu bar then Rename

Enter the new folder name
-
Tap OK or Save
5. Tap to Open & View Files
-
Once you locate the folder with your files, simply tap on the file to open and view it directly within the app.
Helpful Tips:
-
Folder names and layout will depend on what backups you’ve done and how you’ve organized your files.

If you can’t find a file, check through the other folders. Files won’t disappear unless manually deleted.

You can also delete, copy, or share files directly from View Backup Storage.
