-
Must be running iOS 13.0 or later
-
Compatible with Lightning and USB-C ports (adapter required for USB-C devices)

Works with both iPhones and iPads – but iPadOS 13+ is required for tablets
Android Phones & Tablets
-

-
Works with both USB-C and Micro USB ports (adapter included)
-
Some Android devices may prompt you to allow file access or change the USB mode to “File Transfer” when plugging in
Mac Computers
-
✅ Supported on newer Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 chip or later)
-
Requires macOS 12.0 or higher
-
The ClickFree Mac app can be downloaded from our website
-
When installing, you may see a warning or security prompt from macOS — this is normal
-
Click “Open Anyway” in System Preferences > Security & Privacy
-
-
This happens because the app is not downloaded from the Mac App Store
-
Once installed, you can use it to view, organize, or restore backed-up files
Windows PCs
-
✅ Supported, but setup may look a little different than you're used to
-
Download the ClickFree app directly from our website
-
During installation, Windows may show a security prompt — this is expected
-
Click “More Info” > “Run Anyway” to continue
-
-
This happens because the app is built using newer tools that Windows doesn't always recognize yet
-
Once installed, you can browse backups, restore content, or manage files
🌐 Internet Requirements
Backup Use
-
Internet is NOT required for basic photo and video backup
-
You can back up anytime — even offline

⚠️ Important Notes
-
Some older devices with outdated software or unsupported ports may not work with ClickFree
-
If your phone has a case, you may need to remove it to ensure the ClickFree connector fits properly
-
On some Android devices, you may need to manually select “Allow” or change the USB setting to “File Transfer” after plugging in
-
For best performance, keep your app updated and make sure you’re using the correct connector for your device
