Pairing your BoneSoundz Aware headphones with your phone, tablet, or computer is easy — and once it’s set up, it’ll reconnect automatically.
Step-by-Step Guide to First-Time Pairing
Step 1: Power Off the Headset (if it’s on)
Before you begin, make sure your BoneSoundz Aware headset is completely turned off:
- If you hear music or see lights blinking, press and hold the power button until the device shuts down (you’ll hear a tone or feel a slight vibration).
- If you’re unsure, go ahead and hold the power button anyway — this won’t hurt anything.
Step 2: Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode
- Press and hold the Power Button (located on the top of the right earpiece) for about 3–5 seconds.
- Watch the LED light strip on the headset:
- It should begin blinking red and blue back and forth.
- This means your headset is now in Bluetooth pairing mode.
⚠️ Important: Don’t let go too early — just holding the button briefly will turn the headset on, but not into pairing mode. Keep holding until the light flashes red/blue.
Step 3: Enable Bluetooth on Your Device
On the device you want to pair (like your phone or tablet):
- Go to Settings
- Tap Bluetooth
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned ON
Step 4: Connect to “BoneSoundz”
- After a few seconds, your BoneSoundz headset will appear in the Bluetooth device list as "BoneSoundz"
- Tap on “BoneSoundz” to pair
- You’ll hear a voice confirmation through the headset saying “connected” or see confirmation on your screen
💡 If prompted to allow access to contacts or audio, you can safely approve this — it helps with call and media functions.
What Happens Next?
- Once paired, your BoneSoundz Aware will automatically reconnect to the same device whenever it’s turned on and in range.
- You’ll only need to do this setup once per device.
Want to Pair to a Different or Second Device?
BoneSoundz Aware supports multi-point pairing, which means it can stay connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. For example, your phone and laptop — you can listen to music on your computer and still answer calls from your phone.
How to Pair to a New Device:
- Make sure the headset is not currently playing audio or actively connected
- If it’s already paired to another device, disconnect or turn Bluetooth off on that device temporarily.
- Enter pairing mode again:
- Turn the headset off, then press and hold the power button until the red and blue lights flash again.
- On your new device, go to Settings > Bluetooth, turn it on, and tap “BoneSoundz” when it appears in the list.
🔁 Once paired to both devices, the headset will switch automatically based on which one is playing audio or receiving a call.
🔧 Trouble Pairing?
If your device doesn’t see “BoneSoundz”:
- Make sure the headset is in pairing mode (flashing red/blue)
- Try turning Bluetooth off and back on on your phone
- Make sure the headset is not already connected to another device in range
- Try restarting your device, or using a different phone, tablet, or laptop for testing
