Safely ejecting your Clickfree device is important to avoid file corruption or data loss. Follow the steps below for your computer type.
On a Windows PC
Find the USB icon (small arrow or USB symbol) in your system tray, bottom-right of the screen.
Click on it → select Eject Clickfree (or the drive letter name, like “Eject E:”).
Wait for the message: “Safe to remove hardware.”
Gently unplug your Clickfree device.
On a Mac
Find the Clickfree drive on your desktop or in Finder (under Locations).
Drag the drive icon to the Trash — it will turn into an Eject symbol.
OR click the Eject button next to the drive name in Finder.Wait a few seconds for the drive to disappear from the list.
