Good news: ICEBOX doesn’t come with a bulky instruction booklet because it doesn’t need one. The included pages are already labeled to match the folders inside. All you have to do is slip each page into its folder, add your documents, and you’re organized.
What’s Inside the Box
ICEBOX case with hanging folders and tabs.
-
Pre-labeled pages for major categories like:
Mortgage/Lease
Utilities & HOA
Vehicles
Bank Accounts
Insurance
Investments
Home Inventory
Online Accounts
Health
Legal/Estate
Each page goes into its matching folder. You just fill out the parts that apply to you and tuck the page in.
Quick Start (Takes About 5 Minutes)
Open your ICEBOX.
Grab a few of the pre-labeled pages (Home, Vehicles, Bank, Insurance are good starting points).Match page to folder.
Drop the “Mortgage/Lease” page into the Mortgage folder, the “Bank Accounts” page into the Bank folder, and so on.-
Add real documents.
Behind each page, put one or two important papers — for example:Your latest mortgage or lease statement
An insurance card or policy declaration page
A copy of your vehicle registration
A bank statement
Tip: You don’t need to fill in every blank on the page. Attaching a current statement works just fine.
-
Fill in “Where It Lives.”
Use the lines on the page to note where the original lives. For example:“House title: top desk drawer”
“USB with backups: Valuables pouch in ICEBOX”
Don’t try to do it all at once.
Spend 5 minutes on just 2–3 folders. Come back another day to do more. Over time, you’ll build a complete, grab-and-go record.you’ll build a complete, grab-and-go record.
Fire & Water Expectations
ICEBOX is designed to protect and organize your documents, but here’s what to keep in mind:
Fire resistant, not fireproof.
It’s made from special flame-resistant materials and includes a protective pouch for your most sensitive papers. But it isn’t a heavy fire safe — no lightweight box can survive a long-burning house fire on its own.Why we stress “grab-and-go.”
ICEBOX is about making it easy to take everything important with you quickly if there’s an emergency.-
What UL testing means.
Materials like those in ICEBOX are tested under UL 94 VTM standards. VTM-0 means they self-extinguish and won’t drip flaming bits — but it’s different from the thick, rigid materials used in safes. That’s why we recommend redundancy:Keep paper copies in ICEBOX
Store digital copies on the included USB
Back up to cloud storage or an off-site drive
💡 Pro Tip: Make a Home Inventory
Insurance companies often ask for proof of what you owned. The easiest way:
Walk room by room with your phone and take photos or video.
Or use a printable home inventory checklist or app.
Keep one copy in ICEBOX and another in the cloud or with a trusted contact.
Update it once a year.
