Normally, you can find Face ID & Passcode in your iPhone’s Settings app — usually right below Siri & Search.
But sometimes, it disappears or becomes hidden.
Why Does Face ID & Passcode Disappear?
Apple has not moved or changed the Face ID & Passcode menu.
If you (or someone else) accidentally turned on Screen Time restrictions, some settings — including Face ID & Passcode — can get hidden or blocked.
Good news: You can fix this yourself in just a few minutes!
Step-by-Step: How to Make Face ID & Passcode Show Again
1. Open the Settings app
Look for the gray gear icon on your home screen.
Tap it once.
2. Go to Screen Time
In the Settings list, scroll down a little.
Tap Screen Time (usually near the top, under Notifications and Focus).
3. Open Content & Privacy Restrictions
Scroll down and tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
4. Find the Allow Changes section
Scroll down to the section labeled Allow Changes.
5. Tap Passcode Changes
In Allow Changes, find and tap Passcode Changes.
Select Allow
Make sure Allow is selected (not Don’t Allow).
Once you do this, Face ID & Passcode should reappear in your main Settings menu.
Summary of Fix

Extra Tips
✔ If you forgot your Screen Time passcode, you may need to reset it or get help from Apple Support.
✔ This method works on most iPhones with Face ID (iPhone X and newer) and iPads with Face ID.
✔ If you’re using Touch ID (fingerprint) instead of Face ID, look for Touch ID & Passcode in Settings.
Why Might This Happen?
Screen Time was accidentally turned on.
Someone set restrictions on purpose (e.g., for kids).
A third-party app or profile made changes (rare, but possible).
