Trying to create your Clickfree account, but the Next button won’t light up after you enter your password?
Don’t worry — it’s not frozen! This article explains why it happens, what the password rules are, and how to fix it.
Why the Next Button Stays Greyed Out
The most common reasons are:
Password doesn’t meet all requirements
Keyboard is still open on the screen, hiding error messages
Copy‑pasting added an extra space at the end
Clickfree Password Requirements
Make sure your password meets all of these rules:
8 to 32 characters total
At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
At least one number (0–9)
Example of a valid password: Clickfree2025
Step-by-Step Fix
1. Check your password length
Count your characters: is it at least 8? Too long?
2. Add at least one uppercase and one number
Examples:
myclickfree→ ❌ (no uppercase, no number)Myclickfree→ ❌ (missing number)Myclickfree1→ ✅ (perfect!)
3. Avoid spaces or special symbols
Stick to basic symbols like @!#
4. Dismiss the keyboard
On many phones, the Next button stays hidden until you close the on-screen keyboard.
→ Tap outside the password field, or hit the back/arrow button to close the keyboard — then check if Next lights up.
5. Don’t copy-paste your password
If you pasted a password, extra hidden spaces can sneak in.
→ Type it manually to avoid this.
