Overview:
In addition to deleting files directly through the Clickfree app, you can also manage and delete files using your phone’s built-in File Manager. This is a great option if you want to quickly access, move, or remove files from your Clickfree backup device.
Follow the steps below to delete files or folders using your phone’s File Manager.
Step 1: Connect the Clickfree Device to Your Phone

Plug your Clickfree device into your phone’s charging port.

When prompted, tap OK to give permission for your phone to access the device.
Step 2: Open Your Phone’s File Manager
Every Android phone comes with a built-in file management app. The name of this app may vary depending on your phone brand:

Other Brands | Look for Files or File Manager apps |
Tip: If you can’t find it, search for “Files” or “My Files” in your apps menu.
Step 3: Find the Clickfree Device in File Manager
Once inside the File Manager:

Tap the USB storage option to view your Clickfree device contents.
Step 4: Open the Backup Folders
Inside the USB storage, you’ll see folders from your Clickfree backups.
Examples of folders you might see:

Photo_And_Video_Backups

Contacts

New Folder
-
Vacation
Tap the folder where the files you want to delete are stored.
Step 5: Select and Delete Files or Folders

Tap and hold on any file or folder you want to delete.

A small checkmark will appear beside the selected item.

Select additional files or folders if needed.

Tap Delete (usually at the bottom of the screen).

Confirm by tapping Delete again when asked.

Deleted files cannot be recovered unless you have another backup saved elsewhere.
