Want to free up space or remove unwanted backups from your Clickfree device using Android? This step-by-step guide will show you how to select and delete files or folders through the Clickfree app on your Android phone or tablet — so you can manage your storage easily and confidently.
Step 1 — Connect the Clickfree Device
→ Plug your Clickfree device into your Android phone’s charging port.
→ When the permission pop-up appears, tap OK to continue.
Step 2 — Open View Backup Storage
→ From the Clickfree home screen, tap on View Backup Storage to see everything saved on your device.

Step 3 — Find Your Files or Folders
→ Browse through your folders to locate the file or folder you want to delete.
→ Tap on the folder to view its contents, or select the entire folder to delete everything inside.
Step 4 — Select Items to Delete
Tap the small box next to the file(s) or folder(s) you want to delete.
A blue checkmark will appear once selected.
→ Then, tap the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5 — Confirm Deletion
→ When the confirmation message appears, tap YES to permanently delete the selected item(s) from your Clickfree device.

→ A message will appear at the bottom of your screen confirming:
“File successfully deleted from USB drive”
Double-Check Your Storage
→ To confirm your files or folders are gone:
Go back to View Backup Storage.
Navigate to where the file or folder used to be.
If it no longer appears, the deletion was successful.
Quick Notes:
Deleting a folder will remove all files inside it.
Once deleted, files cannot be recovered from the Clickfree device.
Be sure you only delete items you no longer need.
