Creating Your Clickfree Account & Email Verification (2025 Update)
Setting up a Clickfree account takes just a couple of minutes and unlocks backup tracking across all of your devices. Follow the steps below, then jump to the Troubleshooting section if your verification code gives you trouble.
Tip : Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud work best. School or work addresses sometimes block the verification email.
Step 1 Install the Clickfree App
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Search for “Clickfree Mobile Backup.”
Tap Install / Get and wait for the download to finish.
Plug your Clickfree device into the phone when prompted.
Step 2 Open the App & Tap Create Account
Launch the app and choose Create Account.
Enter your email address carefully – no spaces or typos!
Tap Send Code.
You’ll see “Code sent! Check your email” and a countdown timer of when to re-enter the code [the verification code is valid for 15 min.].
Step 3 Find Your 6‑Digit Verification Code
Subject line: “Your Clickfree Verification Code”
From: no‑reply@clickfree.me
If the email isn’t in your inbox within 60 seconds:
Check Spam / Junk / Promotions folders.
Tap Resend Code (wait at least one full minute first).
Still nothing? Add @clickfree.me to your safe‑sender list or try another email.
Step 4 Enter the Code & Set Your Password
Switch back to Clickfree, type the 6‑digit code, and tap Verify.

Create a password that meets all three rules below:
8 – 12 characters
At least one uppercase letter (A‑Z)
At least one number (0‑9)
Tap Next. When you see “Account Created!” you’re done.
Can’t tap Next? Make sure your password meets every rule, then dismiss the on‑screen keyboard so the button lights up.
